About our foundation
Lifting souls. Restoring hope. Transforming lives.
Doing good, from the heart
Oge's Good Heart Foundation is driven by one conviction: early medical screening and health awareness should reach everyone — especially those without the opportunity or financial means to seek care on their own. What began as free ultrasound screenings in Lagos parishes has grown into a mission to detect life-threatening conditions early, across underserved communities in Nigeria.
The mission began in 2017/2018 at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, Abata-Orile, Surulere, Lagos State, where our founder personally provided free ultrasound screenings — breast, prostate, abdominal and pelvic — alongside health-education talks. The findings were both eye-opening and concerning: Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), breast lumps, abdominal masses, cysts and multiple uterine fibroids, in people who had no idea these conditions could be caught and treated early. A second outreach at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Koka, drew hundreds — the ultrasound machine eventually broke down from the sheer volume. Every screening was funded personally, and never once charged. Today, that same mission is extending to communities in Enugu State and beyond.
Why early detection matters
Behind every figure is a father, mother, teacher or child — affected by conditions that can so often be found and managed early.
The need for community-based screening and awareness has never been greater. To continue this work, we urgently require functional ultrasound machines and medical equipment. Read our full story →
